These events are subsidized by the Green and Water fund, more commonly known as “Green Feather Fund”, which is under the auspices of the National Land Afforestation
Promotion Organization. In these events participants walk through a forest, sit down or lie down on the ground for viewing the beautiful scenery and taking breaks, while enjoying the medically proven healing effects of forest bathing.
These events will be held at several roads selected from among 53 forest therapy roads R nationwide, where experiments have, among other things, successfully measured the effectiveness of forest bathing on the stress hormone levels of the participants
As the event will be monitored by doctors we welcome people leading ordinary life yet under the stresses arising from lifestyle-related illnesses including digestive disease or cancer. Forests you will walk through are proven to help reduce stress levels and increase natural killer (NK) cells and adiponectin protein concentration, thereby inhibiting lifestyle-related diseases.
Please come and join us to experience for yourself these beneficial effects of these forest walks by measuring your stress levels both before and after the activities and to realize the power and importance of forests.
