Dear Dr Li

I am a producer for BBC Radio in the UK, and I am making a documentary about forests, including their health effects. I am interested in shinrin-yoku and the research that has been carried out on this subject.
I wonder whether you would be willing to record an interview with us about this? It would involve going to our Tokyo studios one evening (your time ? it would be the morning our time). I do hope you can do this ? it's a fascinating subject.

Best wishes

Dear Dr Li,

We are looking forward to your recording at 1900 on Monday 26 November. We have booked a studio at the BBC in Tokyo. The address is:

NTV Tower 19F
Higashi Shinbashi 1-6-1
Minato-Ku Tokyo

It would be wonderful if you could arrive at the building by 1850 JST and go to reception on the second floor. The reception staff there will then be able to issue you with a pass that allows you to go up to the 19th floor.

When you get to the 19th floor, you will be met by Reiko, who will set you up in the studio for the recording. At 1900, Jolyon Jenkins will call you on a telephone line in the studio, so that your conversation can be recorded.

Please let me know if you need any further information. I would also be very grateful if you could send me your mobile phone number, in case BBC staff in Tokyo need to contact you on the day itself.

With all best wishes for a successful recording,

Sarah Goodman
