A report from the 2014 IUFRO World Congress

IUFRO (International Union of Forest Research Organizations) World Congress was held in the Salt Lake City, United States in October, and a technical session on forest medicine (Forests and human health) was being held for the first time.

Dr. Kagawa (FFPRI, Japan) and Professor Liisa Tyrväinen (Metla, Finland) organized this session.

In addition, in the Plenary Sessions, INFOM Board Member Dr. Colfer, C.J.P. (Center for International Forestry Research CIFOR) presented “The People and Forests trajectory- 1994-2014 and beyond”.
